Carlen Ledain

“Euthanasia is the kindest gift you can give your loved one”
Dr. Carlen Ledain (founder) was born and raised in Queens, NY before moving to South Florida. There she completed her undergraduate degree and went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Auburn University and graduated in 2017.
Dr. Ledain found her way to Charlotte, NC and has been working in general practice. She became Fear Free Certified in 2019 and over the years has worked with integrative and holistic medicine under the guidance of licensed Chi trained veterinarians. She has been working as an independent relief veterinarian since 2021 and is licensed in both North and South Carolina.
Dr. Ledain was first introduced to at home euthanasia’s through a local company and found a true passion for it. Her personal goal is to provide kindness, support and comfort to families in need during such a difficult time. She went through additional training through the CAETA program to become a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian in 2025 and founded Peaceful Tails.
On her down time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with her cat and dog, Jolie and Kya.
